I’m Maliheh Sadeghi, founder and pastry chef of La Bouchée. My background is rooted in classic pastry training and years of hands-on experience in professional kitchens, which shaped the way I approach flavor, finish, and consistency.
La Bouchée was built around the idea that desserts should look polished, taste memorable, and feel right for the occasion — whether that means a wedding cake, a birthday cake, a dessert table, or a tray of small pastries for a corporate event.
The name La Bouchée comes from the French idea of a perfect mouthful — an elegant bite that feels complete, memorable, and just the right size. In French pastry, a bouchée can also refer to a small filled pastry shell, which made the name feel even more meaningful for a business built around refined pastries and bite-size desserts.
That meaning is exactly why I chose it. I wanted La Bouchée to reflect desserts that are beautiful, polished, and memorable in every bite — from small pastries and mini desserts to celebration cakes, wedding desserts, and event sweets made for sharing.
