At La Bouchée, our name says it all — in French, “La Bouchée” means “a bite” or “bite‑size.” That’s our philosophy: elegant, bite‑size pastries with big flavor. From flaky Baklava to lavish Wedding Cakes, we blend the refinement of French pâtisserie with the rich, aromatic character of Persian sweets to create artisanal desserts for Los Gatos, San Jose, and the Bay Area.

Meet the Baker

I'm Maliheh Sadeghi, founder and pastry chef of La Bouchée. I trained at the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) in baking and pastry arts (2011–2013), mastering classic French techniques. Inspired by my Persian roots, I combine tradition and craftsmanship to create desserts that are refined, flavorful, and memorable.

Our Specialty: Bite‑Size Luxury

Small portions, big experience. Our bite‑size pastries are perfect for Weddings, Dessert Tables, birthdays, and Corporate Events—or simply an afternoon treat. Every item is made from premium, ethically sourced ingredients and crafted with care for taste, texture, and presentation.
